Laundry Bags are designed for the transport of laundry from your home to the laundromat - or, if you live in a house, downstairs to the basement! They're available in different styles and colors, with some offering conveniences like drawstrings. These bags can be constructed of many different materials, such as cotton, and can even serve roles not at all involving clothes. Mesh laundry bags are typically employed whenever visibility of content is desired. This allows you to easily tell your whites apart from your colors. Also, many people carry their detergents and fabric softeners inside their bags, particularly those who have to take everything to a Laundromat outside of their home. Mesh bags allow them to easily find their detergent through sight alone, without having to feel each bag or even open them up one by one. But normal "fully covered" bags provide better protection than mesh varieties. Mesh bags are good enough, but most people prefer the more common varieties that are "solid" all around. These bags offer protection against the elements, and even unwanted stares when it comes to dirty laundry - especially lingerie!

Laundry bags need not simply be used just for the transport of clothing. In fact, they can be utilized for any number of roles. Industrial-strength grades, for example, can replace potato sacks for - you guessed it - potato sack races at your local county fair or church charity social! These bags can also be applied towards various arts and crafts projects; it all depends on your imagination. Why not use them as a kind of giant sock puppet? Maybe not mesh bags, but the other fully covered types should do just fine. Through a few choice alterations here and there, these bags can even become Halloween and Purim costumes! After all, what could be more hideous than a giant bag of dirty laundry? And, speaking of holidays, these bags make great substitutes for Santa's sack!

While these ideas may be amusing, they can also work, so long as you have the right materials with which to work. And, of course, it all depends on your own imagination. Then again, you could just leave the laundry bags alone, using them only to carry articles of clothing! But at a time of phones that play video and refrigerators that surf the 'net, why shouldn't bags multitask like everything else in the 21st Century?
